Front Ensemble Specialist

Belgium’s leading percussion ensemble is looking for a driven front ensemble specialist to join our educational team for three months (period September-December).

The Ensemble

DrumSpirit is Belgium’s leading brand for percussion entertainment. Inspired by American WGI indoor drumlines, the ensemble has performed at a wide range of indoor and outdoor events, including competitions, parades, television broadcasts, and stage shows. Our three core values are entertainment, education, and a strong sense of community

The Position

We’re looking for an experienced front ensemble specialist to teach at both DrumSpirit (on Saturdays) and DrumSpirit’s training platform Podjum (on Wednesdays).
• We offer a round-trip plane ticket to Belgium.
• We offer housing with host families.



• Overseeing technique program
• Teaching and cleaning music to mallet keyboards, drum set, auxiliary percussion, guitar and synthesizer
• Providing creative input
• Teaching Podjum, DrumSpirit’s training platform for youngsters


• You have teaching experience
• You’re sociable and a team player
• You have a basic understanding of electronics and amplification
• DCI/WGI experience is preferred, but not required
• Design experience is preferred, but not required

The location

DrumSpirit is based in Dadizele, Belgium, which is driving distance from major European cities like Brussels, Paris, London and Amsterdam. Other European countries are only a few hours away by plane.
